thanks guys. I like it too... but it def feels really diff then my honda. Feels more high end and my honda feels more low end. But the biggest difference i notice is how stiff the whole thing feels. My honda is easy to move around and very responsive, yami is responsive for sure...but seems so much more tough. IDK, how to explain it.

Maybe like a car without power steering idk anything about that topic either lol

i know what you mean bout the suspension. but getting it set to your weight will help with that a little. the yami's are made pretty ridged from the factory.

it probably also has to do with how aggressive of a body position the clip ons put you in. you really have to squeeze those abs to keep weight off your hands. very ridged from the factor though. i would get really beat up just riding on the freeway before i got the suspension set. i could feel the tiniest of bumps.

i mean even walking beside the bike in the driveway or turning it slow...that kind of stuff. not only at medium to high speeds, and not only while riding

i do use my abs and dont weight the bars. I know how important that is. AND, i broke my wrist a few months ago...and if i put weight on it at all... im in pain for a few days straight. Also, i had suspension tuned as much as could be done so far....

you know what, that makes perfect sense

pretty much the same thing i said when i went from my RR to the R6

after having my suspension tweaked at the track it made a big difference in the over all feel of the yami, made it a lot smoother...just ask hooligan lol

yep its hard, but its softer then my RR. Its about twice as thick too..(making it even harder to reach the ground for me)

Could the difference in the toughness be bc the r6 has a real damper and the honda had that bs electronic damper that doesn't do anything?

Oh and the 09 r6 is considerably down on power compared to 08 bc of emissions restrictions. The engine is set up for top end, you basically have to wring its neck to get it going, but one thing you will learn the more you ride it, is the harder you ride it, the better it rides. That thing was built solely for the track, pretty evident when you get it out there.

I think she mentioned it was regeared. That is going to make a big difference in low and midrange powerbands.

my concern is not with power on lower or newer models. its the stiffness. ....like an old truck/car, the newer models are 'softer'...., maybe its just me?~?~?
