EZ Tag

When you got an EZ tag for your bike, did they send you the sticker kind or the big brick that they sent me??

does it work under there or do you just carry it in case you get stopped? I suppose either way the camera gets your plate and you get billed, right?

The sticker kind only works on cars where its attached to the windshield. Those are not weather proof. The brick kind have a larger signal area where they can be picked up by the radar. That's the only kind they give for bikes.

They have to. The woman told me the stickers are not waterproof and once you apply them can't be removed without destroying them.

Remember the older style EZtags? They were a plastic box about the size of playing cards but thinner.

Why couldn't they make a waterproof version of that and give it to us? That didnt seem too large. I had one I never mounted and I could carry it in my jacket pocket, worked fine.

That is what they give us. What they give motorcycles is the same thing they used to give everyone back before the sticker versions came out

It's really not THAT big. its the same LxW as the stickers, its just thicker.

Also I don't think even that one is waterproof, in fact i would bet it's not judging by the gaps where the battery door is, it can just be easily removed if need be, not so much with the sticker.

So it's not even that big? You guys had me thinking it was like huge. If it's the same size as my sticker but thick like the old ones, no biggie. Does it not fit on a windscreen or something? Cause my screen's painted anyway. Anybody got a pic of their's?
