Honda CBR 929

My Bike was just stolen!!!!!!!

I have a black and yellow 2001 Honda CBR 929. It was sitting outside my apartment when I left for work at 10pm and it wasnt there when I got home at 4:30am. I had it locked. It wasn't repoed or towed. I just filed a police report, but I doubt they will find it! Not to mention that I dont have full coverage and I'm still making payments!!!!! What tha am I supposed to do?!

After losing 2 bikes, I keep mine in a storage unit, even with the alarm, when I can't park it somewhere safe

That sucks. Not to open a wound any more but if your making payments isn't full coverage required as part of the payment contract?

Best of luck I hope they find your baby in good shape.

If the cost of the bike is under 9 grand many lenders dont require full coverage. Sorry about your loss being robbed is a feeling

It really sucks we cant go more than like 4 days without one of these threads. And whats worse is these are only the ones that get reported here. How many bikes you figure get stolen and it never gets mentioned on MH?

Sorry for your loss sir. Don't get me wrong about the thread either, I'm commenting on the frequency of bike thefts not that you posting about it.

Oh and never mind the people that are about to be in here telling you that its your fault for owning a motorcycle and living in apartments. While thats not the best idea, you shouldn't have to lock your down like fort knox to prevent from taking it.

Unfortunately it is Houston though and I guess thats the reality we have to live with.

was it chained? what kind of chain? may be good info for others in the future not to use this chain type of deal. and i was only required to have liability. and to the op, if it makes you feel any better, you're not the only one still paying for a bike that was stolen. hope you can fing a way to get the lump out of your throat. hope all ends well.

the part that sucks is that one of my friends just told me I could store it in his garage, but he went out of town. I was waiting for him to get back, so I could store it with him.

not very bright to finance something which is a high theft item and not have theft coverage on it.

Sorry to hear about your loss next time I'm sure you'll spring for full coverage!
