They haven't been out very long, so there hasn't been much feedback to go off of.

I'm not a fan of most Dunlops, they usually wear quickly / feel greasy to me, particularly the previous model the regular Qualifier.

The Roadsmarts seem to have a following, and I've seen some pretty decent wear from them. and they're a huge step up from their predecessors, maybe the Q2 will be too.

Since you're probably one of the earliest to get them, keep your eye on tire pressures and keep us posted on wear / traction characteristics.

I remember reading about them in one of the cycle mags I get. Replacements for the qualifier. Taller profile, qquicker turn in. Haven't had a need for a new set yet, but I remember hearing some guys praise their qualifiers. How much they run u for the set?

for the set I got a good deal and they came in at $475

So far I like them, I really dig the turn in on them and so far grip is where I need it. I ran qualifiers before but the wear was terrible I went through those in no time. hopefully these will be better

STX Cycles gonna have a set of Battleaxe BT016's for $200 bucks in a couple of weeks. Either way... That price is a little high for tires you knew nothing about to begin with. What did the boys at Texas say about the tires?

So was the $337 for the tires alone? Let me guess, with taxes, balance and mounting it came out to $475, right? Despite some of the criticism you're gonna get, it's a good idea to let it be publicly know if you got a bad deal. It'll keep someone else from getting porked just like it coulda helped you.

the break down is this

$215.99 For the rear tire
$121.99 For the front

Installation on both was $120.00.

Ok so yes im sure someone out there could have done it for a lot cheaper or whatever but heres my deal. I have gone to 2-3 other places around here before because they were so much cheaper. But you know what? I got what I paid for. Cheap service. They were never balanced right....... ive had the wrong size put on........ oil plug not even tight..... etc etc. So if I paid a lil extra this time for good service then so be it. At least ill have piece of mine the job was done right.

Site sponsors are always a good choice. Motorcycles Unlimited or Sunny's would have taken care of you and you wouldn't be walking funny afterwards. No one is bashing...well they are but what is trying to be conveyed is that you got raped big time.

Post up next time you need something or PM me for ex and I'll be happy to help you make a better decision next time.

Enjoy your tires and let us know how you like them down the road. Happy riding!

There are legit shops who offer quality service. I've also paid a craptastic $200 for a front Dunlop Qualifier and mounting once, but I had no other option.

I'd like to know the feedback w these too, specifically wear.
