Trust me i know, I'm pretty sure the only people that could out-ride me around 610 is Mark, rodeo, jeremy, Brandt and curt anyone else doesn't stand a chance, sorry everyone else is a noob.

getting kicked out of pp1, does that go on your poser record?? You make it sound so serious

sounds to me like he went up there asking/looking for the people who did it, not getting in everyone's faces and headbutting them.

Glad you're ok Grubz!

JrXGRUBZX

Actually I am glad you ARE OK! a "bike on bike" accident is a sad thing. Dont take it too personally (it IS the internet after all) about my flaming.

I take it personally when i see certain comments opposing each other in the same paragraph, when it comes to riding, or other scenarios that ususually carry a higher risk factor. It's not "you" per se, just the "reading material" i guess.

like others have stated, what you did was the best you could for that moment. my being usually mildy agressive on the far left lane, i too encounter cars that i "think" will move out of my way (after all i AM going faster/overtaking them) but they dont move....so then I move to the right..what do they do? they move right as soon as I do.. it happens, and just accept it, pointless in getting mad, when i know i was above posted speeds, and incurred the situation. ( does NOT mean I think YOU did the wrong action at the moment)

Like LESS_THAN_COOP stated, sometimes making a move can be worse than staying the same position.

but here is my point, you cant afford to be on a machine "minding my own business" when thousands are doing the same, at the same time, but not under the same CONTROL.

it could have been a drunk cager.
it could have been a cop on a chase.
it could have been a rowdy teenager in his first car.
it could have been a father getting his wife to the emergency room to deliver a baby...

in a sport like this you MUST have situational awareness at ALL TIMES...

As another MH'er says (i'll keep her name out of it for now) Riding is like a game of cheating death, and i will do everything i can in my power to stay alive until the game is over when i park the bike.

I have learned that if I CANNOT read all around me at all times within 1000 yards/to horizon, i need to get off the bike. most riders only look about 150 yards ahead. (thats why cops nab majority of you speeding, in straight line of sight on road)

truely engaging the "look ahead" ALL around full 360 to the horizon at all times is quite tiresome. am i perfect?

absolutely not. actually i am QUITE the fcking idiot! i admit it. but I also know that anything that "happens" to me is a DIRECT RESULT of my actions, that i am aware of, or not.

again, glad you are ok. (and yes i know you werent doing wheelies then at that moment, only at ASI)

brb..boss is comin.. lol

Thanks for words gua8 but situational awareness is what saved me . I'm the most paranoid rider out and I always look back. I seen them come from about 60 yards away. No telling what would of happened if they had caught me off guard.

maybe if he didn;t have an avatar w/ a standup wheelie on the frwys he might get a lil more "respect".

while he might be in a lil more control then said speed demon, who knows maybe it was 1 of the best street riders that have piped in on this thread and was in just as much control.

Not quite sure how a standup on an open freeway, with a skilled rider, during the day, at about 60 mph...

compares to 100+ at night, in the galleria area, with a bunch of cars with unskilled riders clipping other bikes....

maybe its just me
