Stock steering dampener is fine, you will however need to safety wire the axle pinch bolts and the drain plug on the pan. Chain guard, kill switch lanyard, good helmet, leathers that zip 270* around the waist, boots and good gloves. Go to www.texasmile.com for more info.

you got a link or is it just SH.ORG?

as far as the oil goes that an old busa mod , should work on any factory damper ,

you drain the old oil, and refill with like a 90wt gear oil or just any heavy gear oil, so now you have thicker oil, you get a stiffer dampner that way !

Lodging & Attractions

History

Goliad is the third oldest municipality and is rich in Texas history. It is the County Seat of Goliad County, one of the oldest counties of Texas. First named Santa Dorotea by the Spaniards in the 16th century, its name was changed February 4, 1829 to Goliad. The name is an anagram derived from the last name of a Spanish missionary priest, Father Hidalgo. Following the Texas Revolution of 1836, General Sam Houston, then the Governor of the Republic of Texas, granted four leagues of land to Goliad on October 25, 1844. Goliad is the smallest town in Texas to be selected for the Main Street Program in 1984 and the Courthouse Square Historic District is one of the most complete examples of early Texas Settlements.

Sorry, here is a link: http://www.suzukihayabusa.org/forum/...topic=135810.0

I didn't realize you were talking about the steering damper. I think you'll be fine with the stock one. You can change the oil if you want but I didn't have any problems with mine.

As far as places to stay, I would get as close to Beeville as you can. That is the closest city and location with restaurants and things you will need/want. It's only about 18-miles from the track, everything else is a bit farther.

Medical would be just a regular physical. I hate to say it but they don't check any of that stuff so you could just fill in your doctor info and history and be fine. I've had recent physicals for work so it's up to you what you want to do.

I'd be glad to help you if you have any questions. If you want to come over and look at my bike you are welcome to, just let me know.
