Should we have a section dedicated to the drag strip??

Dont know if it is needed but we could have a place specificaly for the drag strip. Post big races or events comming up such as TX Shootout, give helpful tips and tricks, bike setups, compare times, set-up track meets or grudge races. I know we already have the racers section, just wondering what everyone else thought about this idea since i saw it mentioned in another thread.

its only about a handful here that actually drag race. i say keep them here or it might be another dead forum like the "mini bike" and "dirt section"

why can't they just post in the forums provided? I know the 1/4 mile guys we have here are hardcore drag racers, but they are few and far between IMO.

don't really think it's worth the trouble, i agree with the statement about it being like the dirt or mini section.

ill make a subforum for drag racing, but only if there is enough traffic and GOOD TOPICS to go in it.

No one is complaining I was just curious as to how many of us straight liners were on the board and if it would be worth the new thread. Figured since he had suggested it I would ask to see what everyone thought. Dosnt realy matter either way to me to be honest.

How about putting a "DRG:" prefix on the subject line of all new threads that are related to drag racing. It should give you a feel for just how much drag racing related chatter there is on the board. Once the existing forum starts getting filled with "DRG: .... " Subject lines. it will be obvious when the times comes for a dedicated forum.
