Why not just pay the toll and stop being stupid?

I got that you were being sarcastic, I just quoted your post to illustrate the line of thinking about wheelieing through the toll plaza, I don't think everyone was joking when talking about that idea.
I meant the idea of running tolls is stupid.
It just amazes me how often people post here about avoiding tolls. I know they can add up if you use the tollway alot but cmon, it's a buck and a half. ANY of the hairbrained ideas to avoid paying are not worth it.
Again sorry, no offense intended.

The worst part is if you are on a toll road, you chose to be there.

Also, if you just happened to get stuck on one SOMEHOW and don't wanna stop, you can go thru the camera thing and you just pay the regular 1.50 through the mail when they send you a picture.

Dave, are you aware of the arrest rate for people committing this crime? I imagine that they don't get very many, but still.... a felony all for $1.50.... stupid.

Not to mention that the TOLL roads are there FOR you. You pay to keep them maintained. If you don't wanna pay tolls, then ride on regular tax paid I-45.

If more and more people stop paying the tolls, then the rate will only go up.

Nope.

The bill is not for $1.50. They don't bill you until you get 3 violations. Then they tack on a administration fee. I don't remember the exact amount but its like $40-$60.

The proper thing to do if you somehow manage to get stuck on the tollway is stop at a manned both and fill out a unpaid toll form. If you just run the toll, expect a bill much larger than the price of the toll.
