Thumbs up CMRA licensing

Didn't see it posted here on www.motohouston.com.

Quote:
The Board voted to develop uniform procedures allowing any interested track-day or rider school organization to apply for certification to offer the CMRA License School. Further action is required to prepare uniform criteria for certification, License School curriculum, Instructor certification procedures and administrative procedures to implement this program as soon as possible.

Oh yea...and Ty Howard and John Orchard are newly elected Board Members.

so now we'll see how many of you mouthy people actually become licensed? so many people pitched a big about only going with r/s, let's see how many of you actually back up your b/s talk.

of course it is no longer "b/s talk" if you become licensed.

Do you think this will be in effect before Nov. 28th? I'd much prefer to get it early than 2 days before the first sprints at OHR. You never know what might happen.

Bitter??

And I can't speak for the whole list, but I will be licensed by the end of next season.

No one has said on MH, about Ride Smart licensing and been "mouthy" except me, Chase. And I have a license.
He's just dragging on MH from elsewhere. Trying to make a simple informative thread into a drama one. Drama that he so despises..yeah right.

Forget about it.

I was just posting the info that people should have other options next year. That's all.

so long as the club benefits from all this (financially) it's all good...

once one get's past all the posted rhetoric and get's really into the details (into the operations and real world implementation of this) - it will likely turn out to be more of a substantial undertaking than originally believed...

i.e., there's still a lot of things to be sorted out...

but again - so long as the club makes more money (and doesn't lose money), I think it's all good...

please don't take it the wrong way, i'm not bitter at all. i'm just tired of everyones and making claims that "they will only do this if that happens".

not biased either, as a member of the CMRA club, i think it's great to have more and more members sign up and participate. the more participants there are, the less expense it should be for those racing.

with this past year and probably the next year, the prov novs were in short supply which meant that each racer had to pay an extra $10 fee per race b/c there weren't enough prov novs to cover the corner working responsibilities which meant that we had to pay for corner workers. not only that, but the volunteer list must have been in short supply as well.

if you'll notice, membership has been increased by an additional $10 per license as well. what has caused this? i do not know exactly.

these are my own unbiased opinions only, nothing i say here should reflect upon any other entities that i may or may not be associated with.

don't worry cdilldo, you have a license already. you know that what happens here or happens elsewhere will eventually make it to the other so quit kicking up dust, i've got that covered for now.

I remembered this post from another thread, now that there are more options for CMRA licensing, would you do things differently?

And I'm also curious as to how many people on that list will actually get their license!! Let's do this folks!!
awesome. now, get out there on the grid and whoop some butts
