Stolen bike? '01 GSXR1000

Sounds stolen to me.... Everything vailable except the frame. I believe on prior to '03, the engine did not have the full VIN stamping, so even the motor is available.

These guys suck...

So if these type CL postings are legit, why are the frames (with attached VIN) conveniently never available?

Good point^^^^

I wouldnt consider it legit if they didnt have a VIN from the salvage or the wreck.

Excuses are just that, excuses. If they bought from the auction, their transcripts should be available, including as part of their business license. Sounds fishy to me especially if they cannot provide a VIN number to be checked.
