There's a guy on here, I won't say any names, that has racer numbers on his bike...and on his myspace page has pictures titled 'me racing at track'...I looked up the number, as I was pretty positive that the number (which was between 1 and 10) belonged to someone I knew...and it did...so I thought 'well, maybe it's not a CMRA race', so I looked at the track that he put in the title's calendar for the date that he posted on the picture...and lo and behold, it was a trackday...

And I understand the whole 'anyone can do whatever you want to do' thing, but honestly...if you aren't planning on racing, what's the reason for putting racer-style number plates and racer-style numbers on your bike if you don't want people to think that you're a racer? (this doesn't really apply to replica bikes, i.e. the GSXR1000 Mat Mladin replica that had his sponsor decals and numbers and whatnot)
because i like it.

nope...it's 1, 2, 3, 4, etc.

and I wasn't referring to you on that one, just an example of a guy with numbers on his bike at a trackday telling people he was a racer

do what you want to and enjoy doing it, I'm just giving my opinion on it. It's an internet forum, you can't expect every single person out here to be on your side or like what you're doing.

Bottom line is you can do whatever the **** you want, **** what anyone else thinks
