Why would you get made fun or for painted numbers on a track bike?

because he's not a racer...

the word 'poser' comes to mind...you know, like the kids with the stock Honda Civics that put 'Type R' badges on the back and whatnot...

especially rocking a bike number of a racer that got ****ed up pretty bad earlier this year and was in a coma for a bit...

I have my old competition numbers in my name of course the CMRA has reassigned them and WERA has as well I am sure.

of course I know it is just for poser value but I like it.

It's on track plastics. Who cares if it has number painted on it. It's unfortunate that the number is the same of the injured CMRA racer; seems that might come into play in the decision process.

Just use the sticker numbers. If you want the numbers on your bike....put them on. Who cares about the rest. It is your bike.

Put a dash in between the 9 & 13.

End confusion.

What racer are you talking about? Zac Chapman is number 461 and Jon Broom is 801. But maybe you're talking about a racer not in the CMRA.
