Herf down pt 2 story and pics

Long story short, I am fully covered on the bike, the other party has insurance too. Basically at the light at Kirkwood at westheimer (west bound) I waited with others for the light to turn green, as it did we left and just ahead a car began to make last min u turn east bound to west no problem…I let off the gas looked away for just a sec…looked back and the car for no reason stopped, blocking all three lanes and at that point it was too late. I grabbed a handful of breaks got a bit sideways and “Smack!” broadsided the car went end over end about 15 yards. Never lost conciseness, crawled the curb and allot people began to gather to ask “are u ok”. 6 witness all told their stories to the police…all in all the police said it was not my fault. The car pulled in front of me and just stopped…I had no choice. The police said was lucky because I went straight on the car instead of trying to skid and avoid, they said I would have went through side passenger glass and into the car. I believe because I hit the breaks so hard it lifted the rear end (my azz included) and allowed me to clear the car without breaking my legs. Anyway broken wrist and some bumps. Thank I had the leathers on and of course a helmet. TY ICON! Whoo! Hoo! 2010 750 here I come baby!

Check out pic where front of frame was literaly ripped off. I think I was 40mph, cops say 45mph but within the limit. They were very nice people.

Wow that gix is ripped apart hardcore. Sitting on your bike was what encouraged me to get mine, shame to see it in that state. If you need a wuss to break in your new one at granny speeds let me know, i'm free. Glad you made it out relatively ok Herffie.
