2006 NFL Draft

anybody hear the bonehead move the Texans reportedly made by signing Mario Williams as the #1 pick. $54 million dollars over 5 years.

They chose him over Reggie Bush and Vince Young. I would have payed money to see either of these guys play, but this #1 pick

ESPN is reporting this and nothing is official until hes drafted.

That's why the Texans suck. They can't see past the elbows.

texans were being cheap. reggie was asking for alot of money but the texans over payed for other non-stars on the team but wanna play hardball with reggie.

i also heard one of the texans management saying defense wins game, but last time i check the texans couldnt score over two touchdowns in a game. now were going to hold opponents to 40 points instead of 50 and still score two touchdowns. dont forget about those empty seats too.

asswipes.

only thing on the offense that sucks is the front line. how can you expect a qb do to what he is supposed to do if he is flat on his back

the texans dont have good receviers either. only one (johnson) is able to make plays and hes always covered. reggie or vince could of spread out the defense and open up the field. the texans werent that bad defensively last year either. i think the front line is already fixed with the off season moves they made.

domminick davis rushed for a 1000 yards last season so if anyone thought bush is guranteed to do over a 1000 a season then it was young all the way. also if the offensive line sucks so bad then how did he run for a 1000+??? we needed a quarterback plain and simple. when i'm sporting my young and bush jersey at the texans game i'll be having the word owned running through my head. another we let go was receiver david givens (went to school with him and graduated with him form humble in 98) that was another offensive weapon we let go he's with the titans too. sigh..........

well in my opinion car is talented enough. if you have watched the games you should be able to see that he was not creating mistakes. it was comming from the guards on the line. they would always be making fundamental mistakes. now if we would have got bush i wouldnt have complained, but i dont see how young is any better than car

well the fact that he wouldn't sit his in the pocket and get sacked doesn't move you?? sorry but carr is just not athletic at all. for goodness sake he didn't even start in college until that qb in front of him got hurt.

umm you cant move out of the pocket if it closes in around you, take a look at earlier tapes like 2-3 years ago he had time to move out of the pocket.
