Zorn's bike rebuild thread. Cleaning them up and need help with parts.
For those who knew Zorn, and met me, this is a thread to ask for help in rebuilding Andy Zorn's bikes. Those who were at the funeral saw the 954 almost finished, but the RC51 needs a rather expensive list of parts. Well, expensive for me. The point of all this is to get the bikes back in excellent condition in order to auction them off to raise money for the family. They've decided that no one really has an interest in riding, especially learning to ride on a couple of 1k's. The focus will be the RC51 for now. So, if anyone has parts such as cosmetic, rear sets, exhaust, and whatever else it needs. I humbly ask for your help with either parts donations, or super great deals for me to finish these bad boys.
I'm going to be in my garage all day today putting together a list of parts for the RC. If you have any questions, then feel free to pm! Thanks ahead of time. I saw a lot of great support from forum members surrounding his family and friends at the funeral. Seeing how much you cared really helped me through this tragic ordeal. |

I would say street plastics, and the tank is fine (white), so decals would be needed too.

I'm guessing you need the rear and not the front brake lever, correct? I have a front, no rear.
I may have a wind screen and mirrors too but will have to check to be sure. For exhaust all I have is 1 Two Brothers can and I cannot remember if it is carbon fiber or not. |

I'll check and see if Patrick still has any of my OEM parts left at his shop from my old RC.
I know I had exhaust and rear sets, but it's been a while. |

I think more than help maybe just a couple of beers in the driveway while I turn wrenches lol. Cash donations can be made to the family at www.getwellandy.com but if you'd like me to pass it along I will gladly!

Bump for attention.
![]() I lost my job Thursday, so I'll be around the house now. Also, I must correct my previous post about painting. I'm a hobby painter, but am trying to break into it full time. My recent firing will allow me time to paint now if anyone's interested. |
