i sure hope that ben can pick up some knowledge of the bike in the next two sessions. i'd love to see a top 10 finish for him. 2 of the 3 riders he tops now is no surprise.

stoner is starting off strong and i hope to pedrosa pick up his pace too. i'd like to see pedrosa win this round.

I think Ben is playing the same little game he played in superbike. Stayed slow in the first practice and then put the hammer down for qualifying.

yah, so we can get that same "where the eff did that guy come from?!" reaction.

watching his post championship interview, he said he knew it would be impossible to get the same success out of the gate if at all the first season, the guys he was up against had total confidence in themselves and the bikes, which he hasn't gotten yet. He admitted he doesn't even know if he will ever be as good as the top 4.

sounds to me like he was just being humble. Ben has tons of confidence in himself. And he is capable of running with the top4 he just has to figure out what makes the 800 tick

yah I agree, its just nice to see a guy go after it being humble, when we all feel as though he is capable of doing it
