Forest Ride 11/08/09

I will be hitting up 149 and 3090 this weekend. I am going Saturday morning (~10am), and possibly again Sunday (I live about 20 mins from 149)

Anyone interested?

My pace is usually 80-100 on 149, and a bit less on 3090 because I have only been there a handful of times and still don't have turns memorized too well, but I can tone it down more if necessary. Just looking to ride more than anything. If you like to ride at speeds in the 60-80 range on 3090, don't bother coming unless you wanna split away or lead after 149.

If you wanna come wit me, we can work out a meeting place on the southern portion of 149 (if you live in the Houston area... I live in Huntsville for college), ride north then west on 149 to 3090, ride both parts of 3090 (I usually ride 3090 twice seein how it takes so long to get out there), then head back.

If you wanna join my ride, lemme know.

My time and pace is flexible (though no more than I have listed...)

Ended up going to 149 and 3090 on both Friday and Sunday. Friday 1 of those constables in their red SUVs was out on 149, and Today 3090 was patrolled by 2 cops, one on each side of it.

Met another rider from here and he said I probably shouldn't be posting speeds on here. Next time I'll leave that out I suppose.

I am down to ride just about any time, especially 149 and 3090. I've been out there countless times since I live so close.

HAHA. so true!!! I kept seeing them and I kept having long thoughts about how they could be so fat, yet long distance bike.
The cops were on 3090 around 10:30-11:00 at least. There was also 2 very large groups... one was sport bikers and one was cruisers. Thankfully they showed up right when I left.

Just drop me a PM when you're ready and I'll see what I can clear out of the schedule book.
