Agree, anything over 100 at night on 610 is stupid. Wouldn't even have a chance to swerve for a ladder, mattress, or tire tread in the roadway.

And not to mention the percent of dumbass drivers and uninsured idiots is huge in Houston.

Should propose skipping the 610 loop ride next time and moving directly to ck and ball size judging at a PP.

All I want to know is what do you people, the ones that despise this behavior do to make the situation better?

Because lazily posting on an internet forum and threatening to hunt someone down does to solve the issue.

That is why I make light of it when I see most of these threads. I havent done a truly spirited 610 route on a long time. I said I was done with it and I am. I like to ride lil wheelies around town now. A few back roads and some track days. And I encourage people to do the same (the track day part)

You freakin people wreck your going 30mph on Honea mthr fkn Egypt, and then wanna tell someone else how to ride ther motor scooter. It aint your place. Learn to ride your ride first.

Its called credibility. And you have none. When you get some...maybe people will listen to you.

And eltejano and whoever else is pushing the track day thing...cool deal...I dig it. You know I do...but let's not forget where we came from?

I can't stand a track day snob that forgot they used to ride their slow around the street too. barley hanging with the sweeper on calis noob fkn forest ride. yea...I know...cuz that was me. On a beat up 954. Ya see...I dont forget where I came from.

Thats the difference between me and you.

post on.

Sometimes my wife is out there and some douche buzzes her and scares the outta her - she swerves and takes out the 3rd biker coming up.

I personally AM an asshat driver, road rage is my friend and i have no problem going off roading with someone that me off - be it car, truck, moto.....

but in turn, if the bikes or whomever are not doing anything and they get messed with - 4x4 is a good thing

If you go out to the country and play around - then most of the time it IS just you out there
If you do it in town - mmmmmmm speedbumps
CHL, the cure to road rage asshats.

post on.
I read several pages, but this is a good post.(not just because it mentioned the Forest Gnomes )

I met a new rider last night that a friend that rides with me on long christian rides wanted me to meet. He has been on his bike for two months and says hes good but still cant get the wheelies, stoppies etc down. He is also close to dragging his knees etc. I just stood there and kept nodding my head. When he was done talking I gave him the website's name and told him to look us up.

Case in point, u cant and wont change people until they see the effects. I cant think of any riders that have slowed down or realized their own mortality until one of their close friends bite the dust. The Northside has undergone a change for the most part when sportbikers go out to ride to events etc; we are no longer bees cutting through traffic but everyone assumes a good staggered position etc. This also invited others that are scared away from the other type of riding and we pick up harley riders too at times.

We are all guilty of being stupid on two wheels, its a matter of our perspective that makes us a menace to others. Once you get use to seeing higher speeds, its not scary anymore and you may even feel more comfortable on your bike then car. Doesnt mean you need to treat highways like your playground, but we are all guilty of this at some time.

On the other hand, if you run into the back of a mini van and injure / kill the people inside, than that's different as you have now taken the life of someone else.
The odds of hitting a car on a sparsely populated back road are slim at best.

On a crowded freeway in the middle of the city while weaving in and out of traffic the percentages of hitting one are high, I don't care how good a rider you are.
Isn't natural selection simply that. Who's to say it wasnt also that other innocent persons time as well. Not taking sides of riding 130 on the freeway or saying not to. I KNOW it is not a smart thing to do but at the same time can't say I have never done similar. Just pointing out what I saw in this post.

130 option, I don't ride a 10 to go speed limits.
I would be on a cruiser, or not even ride, if that was the case
