The next time someone posts an accident/ RIP thread because of high speed i'm gonna point to this thread and laugh at them. If you're stupid enough to think its ok to do 130 on the freeway with traffic around, then i think you at least ought to compensate by being smart enough to know your luck's eventually gonna run out.

We were doing about 70 .. and i know how fast is 130 dude.. so plz save it. may be it wasn't 130 .. or maybe it was 120 .. still almost double the speed limit on a public roads.. anyways.. hope lessons are learned before mistakes happen.

I think its just mourning a loss of a friend. Just because you cant change your friends way of riding doesnt mean you are not going to be his friend anymore does it?

no, but it does mean that i try to distance myself from them because it is just a matter of time, and most likely won't be a very long time, until the inevitable happens

double the speed limit + traffic = stupidity + breaking the law
Double the speed limit - traffic = breaking the law

You are right, some guys have it, some dont. Just cause someone doesnt wanna do it on the street, it doesnt mean they dont have to to go fast. There are plenty of people that go to the track a lot, crash, come right back and do it again. And a lot of those people hardly or dont even ride the streets.

Like I said before, if some wad hurts me or my family because they wanted to ride like wads, I promise you this, they will not like the outcome. Thats all.

They can go kill themselves all they want riding like , I am losing no sleep over it or doing no memorial rides for their dumb . Sounds but thats how it is.
leo, sell me one of your track bikes

I have never been on a Back Road ride where there was ZERO traffic. Its the SAME THING!

Less traffic but more blind turns and such with other WAY SLOWER vehicles on the road.

Speed limit protects everyone, on a street with just me it protects just me I decide to waive that.

The difference is the innocent lives that are being put at risk.
On an empty back road, if I go down it's just me, it is what it is and natural selection has taken it's course.

On the other hand, if you run into the back of a mini van and injure / kill the people inside, than that's different as you have now taken the life of someone else.

The odds of hitting a car on a sparsely populated back road are slim at best.

On a crowded freeway in the middle of the city while weaving in and out of traffic the percentages of hitting one are high, I don't care how good a rider you are.
