Which Of These Hollywood Types Personified "Cool" The Most?

This is easy, but I'm asking anyway.

Which Hollywood type personified "cool" ths most? Steve McQueen, James Dean or Paul Newman? Yes, there are some other candidates that might, on a good day, give these guys a run for their money, but today it's only between these three. You must keep in mind that this is a motorcycle forum (or supposed to be, anyway), so this isn't about your favorite actor - this is about the coolest of these three relative to motorcycles (and by extension, motor vehicles).

For me the choice is easy - no actor was more cool than Steve McQueen. I would have given my right nut to spend a day riding with that guy back when he was around. (Read up on him and find out why.) Maybe you feel differently. If so, who and why?

(OBTW, no one from the current school of actors can hold the jock strap of any of these guys, although I must give props to Ewan McGregor. Brad Pitt? Meh. He's a poseur. Sure, he can be spotted at some MotoGPs and can be seen riding some faux motorcycle once in a while, but he's not in the same league as these guys above.)

steve was way cool, but paul is a racer.......so it's hard choice between those 2.

jay lenno.....not cool as steve, but major motorhead......not fast, but motorhead, cool in my book.

While I like paul newman and is definetely cool great movies and has done so much charity work. The coolest has to go to Steve McQueen. He was bad in Bullet and The Great Escape.Plus wasn't he on Any Given Sunday?

Indeed, McQueen stared in On Any Sunday. He also raced, even though his contracts forbade it. He is famous for racing under the name "Harvey Mushman".

Cool

James Dean ,although he was a road racer.
He had te glare stare, made the leather jacket cool, but don't forget Marlon Brando too.
I'm a little older than most of you guys [ 51 yrs. old ] , but to me James Dean \ Marlon Brando were the fathers of cool.

Definitely McQueen. I also drive an '08 Mustang Bullitt. McQueen was a brilliant race car driver, much more so than Newman. McQ was also an aviator.

Newman was a wannabee McQueen and was too much of a pretty boy IMO. James Dean snuffed out too early to really know, too bad.

Steve McQueen, no doubt. He was a real dude, a man's man, tougher than a garlic milkshake, and no pretty boy! Yet could still get laid with a slight glance and nod... famous, down to earth, fast, fearless, men respected him and tough men feared him.

Oh yeah, I'm a fan.

Best line about racing ever in the opening of this:

Yep, back when it was still a challenge to get laid and you had to have some seduction skills. Nowadays women drop panties for just about anyone, like even for me, or anything, like a cold beer

I gotta go with Dean. He was cool. Period.

I wouldn't say McQueen was more "cool" than Dean, but I would say he was one Badass Mother Fvcker!

McQueen was a bad for sho, I vote Neuman just to represent.
