At 3000 miles all you really need is an oil change and general inspection, lube / adjust the chain etc.

We do all of the above for $49.50, as well as a 23 point inspection and we'll show you how to lube and adjust the chain at the same time.

Take it to Patrick. They'll check other stuff you weren't even aware of. I was a bit hesitant at first cause i'm all the way out in Katy. Now, even though i dont need frequent maint, i wouldn't take my bikes anywhere else. PM him, tell him who you are and what you need, what you do and dont know. He'll take good care of you.

Motorcycles Unlimited is the way to go. While you are there you should get your suspension dialed in for $25

It will make your bike feel brand new!

Motorcycles Unlimited can handle all of this. Talk to Patrick when you get there. He can order you a PCIII and have it mapped, or custom tuned if you prefer. Why do you think it needs to be remapped if you don't mind me asking?

Naw just a slip on you should be fine. Now a full system or midpipe sure. But just a pipe? Not really.

Could it hurt? No. But not neccessary. IMO save the $300+ and buy some trackdays. Upgrade the rider 1st!

Yup and depending on what time you get out of there I'll go ride with ya. I live like 3 miles from Motorcycles Unlimited. PM me your #. I have to be at work by 6 though, so the earlier the better.

Motorcycles Unlimited FTW, have a professional do it and show you how - can't beat that...after all, it is your @$$ on the bike

+1 for the suspension setup...world of difference and the best $25 adjustment you can have made to your bike
