Galveston Rally = HUGE

just got back from the Rally and let me tell you it is HUGE and MUCH bigger than ever before.

Lots and lots and lots of vendors of all types. Way more than any of the past years.

Tens of thousands of bikes of ALL types and a go-zillion people on the strand and seawall.

I came back from there at 2:30 pm and there were still many bikes on the road heading down to Galveston.

BE WARNED - once you get past Texas City there is a cop about every 200 yards and they are stopping riders.

this just in, speed traps all along 45 north and south, also sobriety checks ( random) so yoh know lots of sport bikes will get pulled. also if the rider has no m class, or ins, bike is impounded automatic, no breaks just tickets and impound. so if you guys ride be safe also there will be speed traps from surfside all the way to galveston and random checks. be safe guys and hope this gives you a heads up.

Yep I seened a guy run from the cops. Freakin idiot was from reaching distance when he passed by the side of the side of my truck going like 80 scared the out of. The guy took the exit while the cops was in the very back and stayed on the freeway. Freaking idiot almost caused an accident while he was doing that. I was hoping he would get stop for acting stupid and pace was like 40mph because there was traffic.

I just got back and we didn't encounter not one cop one the way back. So the pace was a little brisk until we got into traffic lol
