That says it all. Ergos on the new sport bikes are designed for the track and are not comfy at all for just riding.

I dont know why people think just because it has a larger displacement motor, that it is a larger bike.
I dont think he was comparing it to any other bikes. It was just a straight forward question about a 1000 CBR for a tall rider. He has an 1800 cc cruiser so getting anything less than a 1k would be ridiculous regardless of frame size.

You might wanna check out Stubbs on Telephone. I think there was a thread around here about them having several very cheap brand new silver 07 CBRs on sale.

08 > 07

Trust me. I'm 6'5" and have owned them both. 06-07 1000RR, after 2 hours, all I wanted to do was get off the bike. (and I had adjustable rearsets AND a corbin seat AND cruise control!)

I can ride twice as long on the 08 before I wanna park it.

Thanks, that helps me understand the difference between the 08 / 07.

I really liked how the 08 fit me, I didn't feel like I was squatting down on the seat.

I would pay the extra $500.00 for the leg room and longer riding times.
