Is the Honda CBR1000RR Good for a Tall Rider?

Have been looking at the Honda CBR1000RR lately and have sparked my interest.

Was wondering if this bike is good for the tall rider.

How tall are you? I am 6'1" and it felt a little cramped to me. You may be able to lower the footpegs with aftermarket rearsets for more legroom.

a 600rr is near the same size as a 1000rr..

I dont know why people think just because it has a larger displacement motor, that it is a larger bike.

to be more specific, Wheel base on the 600rr is just 1 inch shorter and the seat height is that same.

The ride was good and we intend to do it again soon with some expanded routes.

One of the guys knows some really twisty roads down south and we are game if he is.

Our pace was about 70-75 with some 90's thrown in for laughs.

You need to come out with us next time.

That is too tame for AJ. Maybe throw in some whoolies.

Haven't sat on an 08 nor have I actually seen Cdilly on his new RR, so I guess I have nothing else to add to this thread.

I just got back from wild West Honda and the CBR1000RR fits great.

Looks like I will put one of these bad boys on layaway.

I'm 6'5 and I ride one. If you're not hittin twisties/track and moving around on the bike, they all suck IMO.
