Track was not crowded, but the concrete was slick as . The return road was wet and the cars were holding water in the fender wells. They were dripping water all over the line. The guys werent mopping for shyt. I was spinning off the line almost every pass. I broke loose at the 330' one time. That was a pucker moment! The last 2 passes I broke loose at 1/8. My last race was against a nitrous Busa. He sprayed at the 1/8 and blew off the quick access cover and oiled the track just after he passed me near the end.
I ran 2 9.40's and beat him twice. Joe needs to make license passes next time out. He is in the 9's now.

Not bad for the first night out on a new combo for sure. Your 60's need to be 1.65s or better....no more of that 1.75 ...Your 330' in the 4.20s isn't bad but obviously, you need to widdle it down some. I could realistically see 9.50s@143-145mph at your weight. Just keep practicing. How does the new clutch feel?

I'll be there friday night with bells on...I am hoping my clear windscreen shows up by then. Also my wideband gauge has a bad connection somewhere, I have to fix that before friday. Weather is looking good for friday though. Maybe I can get Robbie to give me the move or something since I can't ride for ...

Sure, I will give you the move. That way when you run 8's you can really rape my azz. We wouldnt want it to look like a close race or anything.

I started out with a couple of 11.0's so I thought it was going to be a good night but I was wrong. I was spinning the tire off the line and by the time I got the air pressure right there was too much moisture on the track so I was still spinning. I ended up getting off at how I was running so I quit for the night.

On a possitive note; I sold my one piece suit over the weekend and I have a two piece on the way.
