I've heard Rossi's compensation rumored at $35m. Not sure if thats Yamaha or Yamaha + endorsements.

So who is out of place on this list? Kimi is definitely well paid, and a helluva driver as evidenced by the two drivers performance after Massa's injury. Neither their test driver (Badoer) nor Fisi could do anything with the car.

Nico is hugely overpaid, given the poor results he returns year after year, and what I suspect to be a reasonably decent car. 35 points scored this year.

Jarno Trulli... and, I really like Jarno... but way overpaid. A perennial great qualifier who consistently fails to take advantage of his good qualifying positions. 31 points scored this year.

And then, of course, Rubens. He was Button's biggest threat this year, and he makes peanuts. Of course, Ferrari paid him handsomely for years.... 72 points scored this year.

f1 is one of the most violent motorsports out there. The beating your body takes must be unreal.
