I know, that's what I said when I got done wiping the mud off of her.. Know that it was wet and a bit muddy in the direction my bike was going, and she slid for about 4-5 yards.

Yeah, that was my initial thought. But I know sure I was going 10 mph because right before I got under the bridge, I told myself to be easy on the throttle because it was wet.. so I slowed down to 10mph and kept it at that.

So no body knows what that piece(circled in red) is called and the pricing on it? or if somehow I could reattach the foot rest?

Racer X will be here shortly to chastise you and tell you what you did wrong. He will then proceed to park his stalled car in that corner so you'll take it slower next time.

LOl no lie. Man your best bet is ebay, one time I was working on my bike with house shoes on and the kickstand got caught in the bottom of my shoe. Basically fell on top of me and broke both passenger and left footpeg. EBAY BABY i got them both for a dollar each with 10 dollar shipping. Doesn't really get better than that

I wish it was that simple.. Not only did the foot peg break, but the whole piece that it was attached to.. You can see it in the pictures. Now I'm not sure if its reattachable or not, if not I want to know what the name of the piece is and how much it would cost..

And for buying parts online.. It's a bit pricy but i will buy it through those sites if I absolutely have to.
I think I'm going to find it off a salvage bike.. Probably much cheaper like that. Anyone know any places?

Thanks for all the input guys..

Oh, and The bike's an 08 btw.

wow, sorry to hear that. What brand of frame sliders where you using. THe bike is still somewhat new so i don't think you will find it on a salvage place but you may get lucky. Good luck. Romeo36 owns a salvage place, pm him
