wow 500 isn't bad.. i would like to get one that is show quality. I have read up lots on them. i want a savannah because of how big they are. but i'm scared they will have more wild tendencies since they are a fairly new breed

I've also read that they (sugar gliders) should be kept in pairs and that they bond very strongly with their owners. AND that they can even die with the lack of attention/affection Read that on a few sites a while back when I seriosly considering getting a pair. *shrugs* Kinda scared me out of it. lol

I got Zuki about a year before I got the other one... They do suggest you keep them in pairs, but I don't think they will die if they are alone... They will make weird noises at night if they are alone, cause they are calling for others.... I decided to get another one, b/c I don't play with enough.. I'm always working, or not home... so he has a buddy to play with
