I got a ticket

I had just left my hous headed west on Westpark. It was 6:00 and there was rush hour traffic. I was in the left lane doing about 40 and i needed to get to right turning lane. I acceleratted for about 100 ft to pass a group of cars so i could get over and then stopped at the redlight in the turning lane on the corner of Westpark and the Beltway. Next thing i know there is a cop behind me with his lights flashing. He said he clocked me at 57 when i was changing lanes. I haul all the time and i get a ticket the one time i was actually just cruisin. Its rush hour and bumper to bumper traffic. I haven't had a ticket in over 3 years and get this bs ticket. Im so pist off. It wouldn't be so frustrating if i had actually been hauling and felt like i deserved a ticket. Im willing to take responsibility for my own stupidity but this ticket is some bs. :BangHead:

Why accelerate ahead only to have to slow down in front of them.. why not just roll off and get in behind them?
