good thread. good find. i have rossis autobio. if yall dont have it or havent read it, it gives a ton of awesome details about his whole life. a lot of this is explained in there.

"Tribe of the Chihuahua" is basically Rossi's group of friends. It's where the fan club started. You will see that decal on every helmet he wears, same as the decal of his bulldog on the back of the seat. Rossi is the only one allowed to put stickers on his bike. Started long ago when he was still in the amature ranks.

thats what i first thought,but could not find that stated on his biography.
what i found was that group of friends is always available to him in part 24/7....did not know road racing was big in chihuahua either,or even existent.havent been in 15 years.
