Of the two choices I have only sat on a 'busa, but I also like the room on an SV. Personally I am leaning toward a hayabusa, but more to do with the style, name and thumbing my nose at the "can't corner" crowd than for the power (but a positive aspect) or poser points. Ninjas kick , but they were/are men. Peregrine falcons could be either gender and are just as cool; plus they prey upon blackbirds, which was Suzuki's slam on Honda.

Im love my zx14 but i am no where near your height...Im 5'10" and have plenty of room. You can also do the buell foot peg on the 14 too. In my opinion either would work. I like the 14 over the busa because of the lay out of the guages. Big computer screen right in the center that tells you alot of info...and most busa owners are posers

I am looking at a used Busa 2006, is this the last generation.

Hard to find a used ZX-14.

Don't think it wise to take a new bike to the track.
They have upped power by around 30hp. The brakes and cooling system are better too. Resale is a big part too. I almost did the pre 08 buy. Im sure glad I didnt. The 08 can be had for 8k if you look good. 07's are going for the same. Which would you buy? Exactly!

The 14 fits a taller person better when stock. The buell peg mod is supposed to give you more legroom on the Busa.

What about ZX-14's, is there a big difference between the new generation and the slightly older one.

If so what is the difference?

There is not a major change between the 06-07 and 08-09 model years. The only changes were engine related. The fuel injectors and head porting was changed slightly. The greatest improvement is the secondary butterflies of the 08-09 open around 3500rpm compared to 6000rpm of the 06-07. This added 20ft lbs or more torque at low rpm to the stock bike. Lot better response for sure.

The zx-14 is super comfy IMO.

Maybe its just me but the height on my stock height GSXR 600 and an 08 zx-14 seemed the same to me I can flat foot each one, at 5'10, and have an inch or 2 or extra room between me and the seat. I think the 14 was more comfy though when putting my feet on the pegs not as cramped.
