Some (the fast group) did about 40 miles, the slow group (that took a 45 minute break for forest ranger "couldn't make it to the big leagues cop") did about 25 miles....and 5 beers, 2 burgers, and one sausage on a stick.

He nailed the take-off, but when he landed, something terrible happened. His front tire exploded like a cannonball, and his handle bars went straight through his head. Blood was everywhere. His teeth were ground down to a powder, and the front of his face exploded out the back of his skull. He died instantly... the next day.

My arms, back, and legs have a fair amount of soreness running through them today, and probably tomorrow too... hard work trying to keep up the fast of the "fast guys". Funny how the bruises start showing up about 36 hours afterwards and you don't recall the incident that caused them...
