k thanks for the info guys, i was thinking about just using a small external speaker mounted on the front under the gauge cluster and having the a line coming from the radar threw a switch to the speaker so i could kill the speaker at any given time, and putting a inline amplifier on it so i coul dhear it fine, just tryign to figure out how to make it water proof at this point

either go to a dive shop and spend the 30 for a good hard case or go to academy and buy a water proof bag

there is a dive shop off of i-10 and voss they sell hard cases for 25 i think but that will get the job done + velcro

I use the Tech mount like Godsuki had linked. It works really well.
We're a dealer for them so I can hook you up too.

The HARD system is awesome IMO.
True stealth because it doesn't make any noise, just flashes in the helmet. That way if you do get pulled over it's not screaming to let everyone know you have a detector. I just put my gloves or helmet over the detector and no one sees it. I keep the ones for the Escort in stock.
