Nice work, alot of people don't understand the feeling of hands-on do it yourself pride. I am about to embark on my Nightster modification journey. So far the only thing I have done is put on the V&H short shots. (yeah I love em too) But soon as the winter season hits, it's all out war on the stock parts. Been helping my father-in-law with his '86 sporty mods/cust. It's good to be able to practice on someone elses bike.

Well guys I've done a few more mods that I discussed in the Videos above but thought I would make up a Mod Sheet to go with it.

Modification: Lime Green Pinstripes
Cost: $75 for Tank, Headlight and Coil Bracket. $2 for Seat (Sharpie Paint)
Time Spent: 1 day for Tank, Headlight and Coil Bracket. 10 min for Seat

Heres the Tank and seat before. The seat had WHITE stripes which thru it all off cause nothing else was white

Thought I would thread jack a little in the hopes of getting an update lol.

Over father's day weekend I put on some Road 6 Customs gusseted Z bars, did a 2 1/2" tank lift and wire tuck, copied nighster rider for a cheapo air filter install, and started a coil and ignition relocate.

Cleans up the look a lot - rides way more comfortable with the new bars. I actually ordered a set of mid mounts to replace my forward controls but they won't work with my pipes.

These are great little bikes and the customization options are endless. You can spend as much or as little as you want to get it done. Its the most fun I've had with a bike in a long time.

So come on nightster - its been 6 months - how bout an update? I'm sure you've been cuttin and fabbin

Good looking nightster man. I had been thinking about bobbing out my street bob but scared to spend money on it for my girl to learn and end up falling over a time or 2.

Yea she will be doing that within the next couple weeks. I am still a little concerned something might happen. My chick is only 5' and like 85 lbs, as it is now she can hardly touch the ground so I have to lower it and hope its enough for her to be stable.
