Vintage Dealer Brochure - 1990 Suzuki GSXR750/1100

I was digging through some desk drawers the other day and discovered a few dealer brochures from some of the bikes I've owned over the years. Time as passed and now these ad copies are a bit on the vintage side. I thought these brochures might be some fun to look at, so I'm gonna post up a few.

Today we start with the 1990 Suzuki GSXR 750/1100. (I bought a new, blue GSXR 750 in March of 1990 and went road racing with it.)

my buddy "WEZ" used to ride a 90 GSXR 750. that thing was TRICK, and pimped out to the Nth degree. at first it "looked stock" until you noticed all the tiny things he did to it, and you could cleary see this was a RUNNER from .

this dude was about 4 ft 11, and weighed maybe 110 lbs. looked like a horse jockey on a racehorse. every time he came to a stop the bike leaned over so he could tippy toe with at least one foot (could not put both feet on the ground) at every light. but he could RAIL this .

90's was the era for me of "real sportbikes". todays looks just dont cut it for me.

GSXR- remember when they were designated the "SLINGSHOT" ?
