Gravel dumped on Racers Road Sunday

Thanks to the rider that was parked on the side of the road and warned us about the gravel. It appeared as though someone covered a 10 foot section of a turn all the way from the center stripe to the edge of the asphalt with gravel on racers road. A rider was parked next to it and warned us as we approached. After we turned around and rode by again we saw him sweeping it off the road with his boots.

Also watch out for nails at the rest area after the bridge in Brookshire. Been awhile since I have seen them, but know it's one of the local their.

I can understand people getting tired of noisy sportbikes interupting their enjoyment of the peace and quiet in the country, but almost certainly hurting or killing somebody is criminal.
IMHO the cops should be treating that as a serious act of, at least, criminal mischief and investigating as such.
Somebody dies because of that BS and it should be treated as murder.

If they are so unhappy about people driving by too fast on the highway then they need to work with law enforcement to step up surveillance.

Maybe if you renamed it "rider road" as opposed to "racer road" the locals wouldn't be .

Don't be haten on me, just stating the obvious...

Yea, I remember that part of 2819. This section of Racers Road has a good surface. This gravel that was on the road was some type of brown stones. It didn't look like anything the highway department would use and it was spread evenly like someone took their time laying it down. It was on the last turn before you get to the bridge near the park

A while back I found a neat little pile of 6 or so red bricks stacked in the middle of a turn on RR. After stopping and turning around we tossed them in the ditch. Obviously they get tired of the bikes zooming by; yet another reason I vary my routes and don't run the same old roads every weekend.
