When to move on?

Im sure I am getting ahead of myself. Im going to give myself 2-3 more rides through the forest and about 1-2k more miles on the 250 and I might move on to an r6. This way I can still sell the 250 for about what I got it for.

I have done 1 forest ride, 762-cr42, and 1458. I really should do a track day on the 250 before moving forward i think.

Discuss.

I didn't receive your application to join the elite ranks of R6 owners, must have gotten lost in the mail

Resend please, I'll consider letting you buy one sometime next year maybe.

I clicked on this thread bc I thought it was about a girl cheating on you or something...but its worse, you ride a 250, and I'm really sorry about that

IMO, and don't take offense to this. But, if you have to ask others if you're ready, you aren't..

It all depends on the rideer.
Some people pick up riding faster than others. If you are riding the 250 to it's limits and find yourself wanting more, then perhaps it's time to move up.

Do a track day and explore the limits of that 250 in a safer enviornment. I think you will find the limiting factor to be the rider and not the bike.

It wouldnt be in general discussion if it wasnt about bikes. What's wrong with a 250?

I'm just messing with you, 250's are fun to toss around at little tracks, thats about all I could stand to do on one tho.

so you're gonna compare licensed racer times, to novice and intermediate trackday rider times...

why not compare the 250 race times of 2:10 to the SS race times of mid 1:40s.

You see where I'm goin with this doncha!

damnit you're right!

You would be suprised how long it takes to get a wrist back to full strength, you build one part up and think you're fine, then one day another part is sore and you cant move your hand bc you're having to build it back up, its frustrating.
