I'm sure riding a Harley on the track is fun - but that's just not what it's made for.

It's like a '64 Caddy convertible. Yeah, it could be fun on track but it's a lot more fun just cruising around taking in the scenery. A stock Harley (even a nightrod) is not exactly a 'performance machine.'

For years I've told people that the Harley is more fun at legal speeds than a sportbike. Sportbikes don't get fun until you're doing 75 or better.

I'm not about to give up the Harley on the streets or the SV on the track.

I like finding new subdivisions under construction, where the streets are brand new, but no houses. Plenty of fun at 30 mph at the "subdivision/ racetrack"

just need higher RPMs, and lower gear. MPH has little to do with it

I used to like riding the track, but now that I don't I just enjoy riding and cruising around. I will never ride the track again- been there, wrecked that, spent money blah blah blah, you've herd it before from everyone else.

I know a handfull of street/track guys that would rather take a scenic cruise through Fayetteville then drive to TWS (Texas World Speedway) to trackride. Well, used to be like that anyway.

I do however find it funny how people do 2 trackdays and immediately think everyone that rides the street is a stupid noob and are constantly talking sht. Those are the same people I PASS and leave behind becuase they can't hang, then they get on MH and talk more sht about how fast or crazy I ride LOL

First off, mans bike. I've literally beat 1000s down the strip on my "little 6" and anything on the streets.

I am going to the hill country with Steve and all them, don't know when but he's got it planned soon.
