Kinda gave up on the street after I started going to the track. Just cannot have the fun that I can in a closed circuit. I dont mind the cost, I do almost every TWS (Texas World Speedway) track day.

Just tired of all the grandmas, high schoolers, soccer moms, hicks in their pick ups, wiggers in their Acuras, Scion douche drivers, cops, debris, deer, semis, possible creepy tow truck drivers, people shooting bikers, tail gating v6 Mustang drivers, the list could go on for ever.

I like to ride, and track days are fun BUT it hurts just as bad when you go down and costs just as much to repair the damage. And the only 2 times I've been down have been at the track.
After 25-30 TD's the last couple of years I've learned a lot, I'm certainly a better rider, but in most ways I have more fun on the street. More to see, I stop and start when I feel like it, I pick the route and I pick when the day is done.

If anyless than 210% of your attention is on what you are doing with that machine between your legs, you dont belong on the street with us.

When you get the chance, try out the track....you'll love it. Like you, I love getting out on the twisties at very high speeds. Let me point out 3 things you will like about the track.

1) No worries about LEO
2) No worries about hitting a car, tree, fence, etc. if you go down.
3) You don't have to wait 5 minutes to get to that next kick curve.

since ive started riding everywhere instead of taking my car.. the car is frackin scary, i hate being a passenger, everything freaks me out, its huge compared to the bike and nobody driving is paying as much attention to stuff around them like i would on a bike, you cant fit anywhere, zip out of the way, split lanes, or evade into small places if someone takes over your lane.. oddly enough i feel safer on the bike.
