Thumbs down It never fails...

I love talking to someone (most of the time its a newbie) that has previously crashed and listening to their bullsht story about how a car pulled out in front of him and he had to lay his bike down. You hear these storys all the time, some are truely unnavoidable, others are just make me "face-palm"

Talked to a guy Sunday night, he tells me "yeah I had a car pull out in front of me on the feeder, had to lay my bike down cuz that stupid btch! I didn't even have a helmet on"
I says "how fast were you going?"
He replied "well I was on a wheelie prolly going 70mph"

??? So let me get this straight... First off, you prolly can't even "pop-a-wheelie" and if you could you wouldn't be doing it on a busy feeder were cars are known to pull out, and so it's there fault they pulled out in front of you while you doubled the speed limit when you have little to NO skills on a motorcycle? (cuz if you did have skills and experience you would have excpected that car to hit you, therefore would have swerved or slowed down)

:-) Proper response should have been...

"You were doing a 70mph wheelie on a public road and had to 'lay down' your bike to avoid a car that pulled out in front of you... and the driver was the stupid ?"

I'm no squid , I just find it sad to hear about wanna-be bikers blaming others for their own stupidity.

Y'all know me, you've seen how I ride... How come I have never had to lay my bike down cuz a car pulled out in front me??

Hahahahahaha... I find amusing the double moral here. This guy was an effin noob and a fool. Another person gave pretty much a similar response but in your book that was okay because he is the best rider in the streets of Houston.

Hahaha wow that sounds like everyone that's "warned" me about getting a bike. They all start off with "You shouldn't have gotten a crotch-rocket, they're dangerous. I had one yrs ago and once when I was racing, this car pulled out..." or "... I was doing a wheelie and lost control, sportsbikes are dangerous"

You mean that when you're doing triples or stuntin' on the freeway and a car 'cuts you off' by coming into your lane, it's YOUR fault? That's ridiculous.

What's the world coming to when we can't blame cagers for all our driving woes?

Where you there that night? Did you see what happened?

Also, re-read my first post, where it says "some are completely unnavoidable" and "most are noobs"
