Just a heat of the moment reaction. When you are on the track your emotions are a little more intense. It takes a little longer to cool off. The most intense heat I have seen on the track was at TMGP Katy last year when people were fighting in the pits.

Actually the thread said it was SOLD before the weekend started. We were speculating at the track about that being the cause for the temper flare up. BUT I was thinking that it was the guy who bought the bike. lol

Craziness.

The bike _seemed_ to be ok except for the windscreen. In the the for sale thread it said 'never down'.. gonna have to change that to 'down once' D'oh!!!!!

agreed, its a lot of heat at that moment. When i crashed the mini during endurance at Cresson, all I was trying to do after getting up was to FRANTICALLY pick the bike up and get back on track. Cornerworkers almost had to act rude with me to make me take a look at the bike first.

btw, did somebody notice #344? for a novice, he was doing pretty fckin good!!!

[QUOTE=ArturoC]I kinda like this sequence. That's Buck getting pushed off the track on the bike I *thought* he sold ?

YEP that was me getting punted in T3 on the first lap of C Superstock by some guy named Rusk out of La. Just as I was tipping in in second place, he hits my right side standing me up. I was ridding it out, but the tire wall was getting closer and I knew I wasn't going to stop her in time so I had to put her down, rather than bend the front end. What the pics don't show is the major hissy fit I threw on the guy. Kind of feel bad about that, but I still had my race face on, and was quite !! I had sold the bike on Thursday:eh: They guys wasn't going after me, he was probably just dazed and not sure what happened. Said his rear brake got stuck, but if that's the case how did he hit me? That's racing folks, sometimes you suck, sometimes it's the other guy.
I called the buyer from the pits afterwards and told him. Fortunatly it is only cosmetic damage to the upper. He still wants the bike and will pick it up on Wed. Got the bike back up and finished the race with no wind screen on the bike or my helmet. Broke it off when I threw my helmet down in disgust, then punted the visor into the spectators. TWS (Texas World Speedway) front straight at a buck fifty with no visor was interesting.
Overall a good weekend though, got a second, third, fourth, and a fifth place. Should have won the C superstock though.:mumum: The 750 now known as "Bucephalus", had some handling issues I had to work around, but the bike is STUPID fast!! Was turning :52's on Friday, but with a slick front on Sunday the front end had some major chatter that kept me in the :53's all day. Once things get sorted out this is going to be a sick race bike.

aaaa

Thanks, me too. That guy on the #344 is Danny Kessley. I think he's 18-19, prov nov came from MX background. He hopes to go AMA next season. Been after him all season, and finally got him by like 5 feet at the line in F1 for second. "Bucephalus" has some serious motor that made it possible. No replacement for displacement, as they say!! Don't bring a knife to a gun fight as well. Nice kid with loads of talent, he'll do well. Ahhh to be young again!! It sucks that when you are finally able to afford this kind of fun, you're too old to do anything with it, and it takes too long to heal from stupidity. Those young'uns still bounce!!!

Thanks for finishing the story Buck!

Glad things worked out with the buyer. I still say its good to chew on someone if they run you off the track though. Perhaps it will make him remember next time he tries goin up the inside....

Maybe when he said his break stuck...he meant that he was afraid to let the thing go...???
