Yep heard about this happening down here. Wasn't anyone I knew. Went riding yesterday with my friend and we got to a stopping point and he said that this is where it had happened, and if he is right then they were not to the "twisties" yet if ya wanna call them that. There's a turn off of the main road to Lower Mission Valley and sounds like the first person grabbed a handful of brake to not miss the turn and doesn't sound like everyone was able to stop in time. I am not 100% on this just my assumption on seeing where the accident supposedly took place.

RIP to the fallen rider

It sucks that any rider died. But yes it sucks just a tad more when she is hot.

Meh, agree to disagree

Some stuff from our local paper

http://www.victoriaadvocate.com/news..._102009_70652/

Kinda figured she was pretty new to riding

Quote:
She had been riding motorcycles for less than four months.
You should see the way almost all of the sportbikes ride around here, pure craziness, don't know if it's the group she was riding with but if it was it would sure explain a lot. Lotsa go fast toys and no skill or gear. Tragedy just waiting to happen

from what it looks like she had the bike a little under 2 months.....

Very sad indeed. I saw a little girl in some of her pictures... I really hope that wasn't her daughter. From what her page looks like and shows, I dont think so. But just hoping anyway.

RIP

Went looking for more info to see if I did see the wreck spot and if my assumption was correct and it looks like I did, and I was. They weren't to the "twisties" just at a turn off. Here it is if the link works.

On her myspace page it shows here with a little girl named addison I think. And there is another gallery called bye opie...which looks like opie might have been a horse.

I was hoping that addison if I am using the correct name was not her daughter.....that would make the horrible situation even worse to know if any children were involved.

But looking into it more, I dont think addison was her child, from what I read anyway. I couldn't find anything mentioning it.

from the 2nd article

"well yesterday my husband told me that his friend wife was in a wreck! than later we were told she passed away. we were also told how it happened, that she fell behind from the pack yes she did speed up to get with them but as she came on top of the hill there they were PARKED on top of the hill in the middle of the ROAD. now I could be wrong but that is what a witness said to my husband boss, who lived near by!!!"
