That 9.17 pass is the one I heard from half track. On mine I just started to 2 finger the clutch and rev/slip it. It seems to help me slip it some. I have to say it works by looking at the slips. I finally started launching harder too. I went too hard on one pass after a delay on the line. The tire cooled and I dear went into Joes lane. I had to let out and ran a 10.??.

Dam, I had a great time running last night. I started with a 13.62 first pass. After talking and getting tips from everyone. My fasted pass was 11.80. I can't complain my goal was to get under 12's the first night. But like every one said, it is all about that 1st 60'. Trying not to lift the front wheel during launch slowed that 60' time way too much. With more time and runs, I will get that launch down and start burning down that time.
It was good meeting all of you, thanks for the tips and passes. Hopefully it will not be so long between my visits and track time.

Good meeting you. Next trip you need to come with a strap for the front end. they are 20.00 and make a world of difference

Rob,
Thanks again. I was just talking about the strap to my wife. Definitely will be purchasing one before next set of runs. Looking forward to riding/running with you again.

Tim

Now that the first one is out of the way you will make gains every trip out there. The nerves will go away and awareness will increase. You will get a routine down and the time will drop.

I think he can get a 9.20 out of it in good air with a little better 60' and better 330'. A 1.48 60', 3.95 330' in the same air will get him a 9.20 on a perfect pass.....THEN its time for the jug.

Just like I am not turning the boost up on mine until I get a low 1.50 60' and 3.80 330'. Once I can do that consistantly, I will throw another 50hp in this bish on the back side. I am looking for a 172-175mph trap speed....
