BIke Info Needed

I found a 1993 suzuki DR350 4 stroke on/off road bike, fairly clean, 4k original miles and runs and sounds perfect. 6 speed transmission, mono shock rear, good hard knobby tires front and rear, seat has a couple small 1/2 tear spots and the sticker pack looks hoky, but otherwise the bike is in pretty good shape.
he wants 1500. I offered 1200, he says 1400, I sez 1300
I left him with that, he said nope and wants 1400.
Is it worth it? The bike runs and rides great and is kinda neat because it has on/off road ability. I've always wanted one of these, he said he had to search a long time to find it and bought it in Austin.
good to ride to work on. should I go 1400?

Scooter,
Call SuzAnne tomorrow at the shop and she can look up the NADA Blue Book value on it.
The DR is a good bike for fire road / trail riding.

It looks like it would be a fun bike, I've always wanted one and figured ifn' I saw a cool trail, I could just always go on it and explore, who knows.

just looked it up (www.nada.com), average retail $845.00 it didnt ask mileage, which is low for that year I think.

looks to be a fun ride but 1400 is a still a little high 1300 maybe.

ok, he called back and said 1300. I went ahead and bought it.
low miles, pretty clean condition, runs perfect. been riding this booger half the day! saw a muddy road and hit it and scared the out of me, almost wiped out and finally got it out without any damage and had some serious washing to do after that. Mud isnt so fun, dirt roads and fields are a blast. wheelies like crazy. I am starting to get the wheelies down, still kinda scary, it will power up wheelies in first very easy, havent got the riding them out down yet, but can yank one pretty easily and ride it through the gear, prolly 25 -30 feet or so
fun bike so far, havent tilted it to balance point yet.

I need to lower it a bit, I'm 6' and have to tippy toe to hold it upright.
