A few more bought
A few more sold

from the article

"I spoke to a few H-D luminaries about the Blast recently. I heard the Blast will still be manufactured, but only for use in the Rider's Edge training program, where it does yeoman's service. Would that motor appear in a future H-D model, to provide an affordable entry-level bike for the youth market, which H-D is eager to sink its corporate teeth into? "Harley-Davidsons are V-Twins," was the flat and simple response; in other words, no"

that doesn't sound like the blast will go under HDs wing......

so according to that article, the answer is yes? hd is shutting down production of the sportster for the rest of the year. if they can't move their entry level bikes, why would they produce another entry level bike to compete with one they can't sell?

^^
They cant use sportsters in the Riders edge class.

I can't get to the other links as the badweatherbikers website is down.

Buell being shut down and if the article is true and HD produces the Blast just for R. E. wouldn't that still make it a HD?

If you’re a die hard fan of the Blast, don’t fret too much. The bike will live on under the name “Blast” sans any reference to Buell though. It will also continue to be an integral member of the Harley-Davidson Rider’s Edge training program.

i thought this place was for people that liked to be on two wheels, not some kind of bullsh**t i'm better than you cause of what you ride. i ride bikes and Harley's and im just as friendly on either bike i ride. Its all about commaraderie the joy of felling free.
