Pressure washing is a bad idea, lots of the wiring is in the headlight bucket not to mention i think its the big splash and mud that was in the dip directly after the pavement ended.

Yea washing it will solve the turn signal issue Not to mention the heat caked the mud on the headers and when the mud came off so did the paint, so no I can't just wash it. Plus the nice mud dousing coated all the connections under the tank, triple so they have to be cleaned and re greased, a simple washing wont do that.

Yea I thought about turning around but it was really sludgy stuff so I didnt want to even attempt it plus by the time i had gotten down to a manageable sludge speed i was pretty far in already. The stuff was literally about 3-4 inches deep of mud varying in thickness.

No, im not driving back down that road after i already sprayed the bike off and cleaned it up a little bit. . .still needs a good 4-5 hours of cleaning and getting mud out of the engine fins, off the spokes and whatnot.

I'm in switch, i ride up this a way pretty regularly when I have days off, usually during the week tho

Regardless of the speculation, that sign was not where it should have been. I would take pics of the road asap, the damage to your bike, and get a lawyer.

Sorry, bro.
I was thinking the same, sometimes kids get bored & pull pranks like that.
Glad your are okay though.
It sucks !
