if it were a lowside, she wouldn't be sitting on top of the bike. had to have started as a highside and she got lucky OR, it could have been a lowside, the bike spun around and scooped her up ontop of it but i think that is unlikely. either way, glad you didn't get hurt and that is an awesome picture.

Turn 4 foo'. It is obvious you have not been spending enough time on the track.

Glad to hear you're okay. I think it was an excellent strategy. Why scar up your bike AND your leathers?

It's turn 4 and of all the turns 4 wasn't one that concerned me. It happens so fast it's hard to remember each moment but maybe it was a highside-lowside-triple-sowcow-mud-faceplant.
Blair says he thought the throttle stuck open cause it was bouncing off the rev limiter.. but I think that was after the pandemonium had introduced itself that he heard that.
I think I do remember it going left then right underneath me...
Highside never crossed my mind til you said that. Been trying to figure it out in the pics but Blair didn't start shooting til the bike was already down

If it were a lowside, the bike and yourself would have def. separated from each other (speaking from plenty of experience) it could have been a "slightly easy" highside and you got lucky to land on it or it never really threw you too hard.

i'd say a highside with plenty of luck

that was my first thought when I saw the pics...on the bright side, your leathers probably went unscathed.

I'll let you know after I get the globs of mud and grass off them. Hit my head pretty hard. Have had a headache going on the 3rd day now. Scratched up my helmet but not too bad
cheek and knee are sore as but nothing crazy

I'm not a doctor, but I would go and see one if I had a 3 day headache........

Better safe than sorry

Like Dean Laden said, I think you'd definitely make it on the RRW crash page

Was it wet this past weekend?

If so, there is a 2'x2' patch on the inside of turn 4 right near the end of the yellow curbing.

If there is any moisture on the track, that patch is slick. It can cause the front to tuck without warning.

Glad to see you escaped injury!

Any crash you can walk away from is a good one!
