Rider down on Beltway 8

for thoseof you that dont know, BabygirlGSXR got hit going about 70 on the Beltway. She was hit from behind, and the bike is totalled, Sandra is fine all things considered. She has bruising on her belly and her knee is jacked up. Other then that she is just sore.

no ! glad shes ok so to speak.
The last few months before I sold my harleys, I almost got creamed 3 times by drunken asshats f cking w/ me for no reason.
Its gotten to where its insanely crazy to ride houston streets, nobody cares anymore for the bike in the lane.
proof positive, she is doing 70 mph and they hit her from behind!?

I was told a story yesterday about a buddy who had some guys in a p-up come behind him w/o lights on...blasted their horn and when he turned to see wtf, they bashed his and he went over the hood luckily instead of under the truck. of course they hauled and probably thought that was funny.

, glad shes ok.

I almost got creamed from behind a few weeks ago on I-10, just cruising along like 70ish and some jackass must have been playing with his phone or something was going about 80 and started fading over from the lane to my left into my lane about 3 car lenghts behind me, i sat and watched in the mirror and had to move over to the far right of the lane, he completely took over my lane and then jerked back to his lane right after he got next to me (in my lane). would have smashed right into me if i hadn't seen him in my mirror and moved.

crazy, can't seem to be careful enough these days...

Man that blows. Get well soon.

One of my biggest fears is getting hit from behind by someone not paying attention. Can't trust anyone nowadays.
