When I get a chance, I will drop it off at jemco for the exhaust that will cost 250.
I think I want to have a radiator mounted first. May use a RM 80 radiator because it will be free.
Might have a custom rear sprocket made that will fit a 520 chain.

I want to keep it as cheap as possible.

A little advice......

buy life insurance.

I put an 85 in my ysr once. I used to dare my friends to ride it after that. It would power wheelie every gear. After too many people crashed, I put in an XR 100

I have not used the 125 motor scince I got it and am unsure of the power it has. It felt a little under powered when I rode it for like a sec. I want to do some perfomance mods when it is time for a rebuild and plan on useing the bike to run track days.

I hope to hang with the big bikes.

i have a 250f motor waiting to go in something...been keeping my eye out for a nsr or Ride Smart frame.

i may be picking your brain when I find the chassis for mounting solutions. I just bought a welder to learn with.

Looking great bro! Did you get the valves checked on that other motor?

I need to get some pics but I got a radiator and am going to mount it sideways like the RC51 with a scoop for air flow.
I still need to weld a bracket for it but it is on there with the radiator hoses holding it in place. Clears everthing and looks like it will have good ground cleance.
Now all I will have to do is get a rear sprocket and drop the bike off to have the pipe made.

Now you can be like that kid with the NSR with a 500 cc engine that I beat

When you finish the bike, I too want to volunteer as a crash test dummy

I built and raced several YSR80s in the middle 1990s. This picture was taken in June 1997 at Oak Hill in T7. This particular bike had a Yamaha YZ80 engine in it, but some guys prefered the 4-strokes, which could be larger displacements. The team I rode for won the overall mini endurance and Super 80 endurance championships that season. The next season we would finish in the runner-up spot. In 1999, we moved on to a RS125 chassis.

In 1998 I took the YSR80 to the drag strip and ran middle 15s with it with road race gearing. Everything was going well until I did a wheelie heading back to the staging lanes and got booted from the track by race officials.

Little bikes, big fun.

th YSRupdate049
This is how it is going to mount to the frame. It is two halves of a pocket bike exaust.
The allens should make it easy to take off and put back on.
