2001 VT750DC (Honda Shadow). Comprehensive. No tickets, one $1K accident (not at fault), 32 years old, married = $422/year through Progressive with USAA discount. My dad was air force before I joined Army so they see me as a lower risk.

A side note on theft and comprehensive. If your bike is highly modified, don't just tell them you want an additional $10k in insurance. Ask for Replacement Insurance.

I had the additional amount of coverage on my R1 and I fought with State Farm for over 6 months to get the extra money out of them. Had to go to arbitration and hire someone to represent me. Ended up being OK in the end. They totaled the bike but since I was able to raise the value of the bike so much, the repair estimate was low enough that the title remained clean and not salvage.

I have liability + comprehensive. Collision would cost me twice as much, and I rarely ride on the street any more, so no point really.

So its looking like Allstate is the only one that does Liability with Theft. Going to have to give them a call.

I've got state farm - liability and comprehensive (no collision). With state farm their comprehensive includes theft. I pay around 65/mo. and I live in an apt. near allen parkway. Granted, the bike is still garage kept.

Im 25, I paid 141.00 per year with progressive liability only. I think they considered the vfr a "cruiser".
